Ivory Coast winger Nicolas Pepe has revealed. He is set to return to Arsenal to discuss his future with Mikel Arteta.
Pepe played for Nice last season on loan from Arsenal and is now set to return to the Emirates Stadium as the Ligue 1 club have no plans to buy out.
Arsenal have a queue to start pre-season training next week and Pepe is reporting. But it is unclear if he will be part of Mikel Arteta’s team next season or not.
The Ivory Coast winger opened up: “I’m going back to Arsenal. So I had to go back to Arsenal.”
“I don’t know (about the future) when I go back. I’ll talk to the coach and everyone to see what their ideas are. And then we will decide together.”
Nicolas Pepe joined Arsenal from Lille in 2019 for a club-record fee of £72 million. And has made 112 appearances for the Gunners, scoring 27 goals and providing 21 assists UFABET
While the Ivory Coast international’s current contract with Arsenal expires in the summer of 2024. He has not played for the club after three Premier League games, most recently making his debut in front of Nice fans.
