Lautaro Martinez, Inter Milan‘s star striker, smiled broadly after scoring the winning goal to give his team a 1-0 win over Roma. Which moved him up to 7th place in the club’s all-time top scorer list.
The Argentine striker scored the only goal of the game at the Stadio Olimpico as the Nerazzurri took home three points. Making him the 133rd goal-scorer for the club, level with club legend Istvan Nijers in the 1950s.สมัคร ufabet
“It really means a lot because, as I always say, I felt like I was born here from the moment I arrived. The feeling of being part of the team is always important.” Lautaro told DAZN after the game.
“Today we faced a very strong opponent, especially with the difficulty of losing two players injured early in the game. But we showed the strength of the team.”
Today marks his 133rd goal for the club, and when asked which was his favourite. Lautaro replied: “It will always be the first goal that starts, the one against Cagliari at San Siro.”
Roma coach Ivan Juric defended his team’s performance despite the loss.
‘I think we started too timid, I didn’t like the first 15 minutes, but after that we did really well until the goal. The goal was just an accident and you pay a heavy price for that at this level,’ he told DAZN.
