A source close to Mason Greenwood has revealed. The Marseille forward could opt to join Jamaica if new England manager Thomas Tuchel fails to make his selection football.

Greenwood is now ready to join the Three Lions with The Sun reporting that. The player wants to speak to Tuchel and the Football Association about whether he can play for the team, and if not. He is open to playing for Jamaica, currently managed by Steve McClaren.
A source told the British publication: “Mason knows his chances of playing for England again are slim. But he wants to be sure of what the Football Association and newly-appointed Tuchel think.”
“He’s determined to play at the highest level, which means the World Cup. So if England don’t want him. He’ll go play for Jamaica and try to help the team get to the 2026 World Cup.”
For Greenwood, who is of Jamaican descent. He has only made one senior appearance for England, with FIFA rules allowing players to change their national team. If they have made no more than three appearances for a country before turning 21.
